Chiff Chaff
Verified by us: Chiffchaff is like all of your childhood treehouse dreams, but grown up and sophisticated. We really felt like we were living up amongst the trees with the birds as our neighbours. It’s a beautiful escape with level access and room for a wheelchair user to enjoy the space. It definitely has the ‘wow’ factor for us!
Chiffchaff is a wheelchair accessible treehouse reminiscent of a cosy woodland barn and has wonderful rustic interiors.
It has a great view of the surrounding parkland and hills beyond, and is situated between an impressive Sycamore tree and a gnarly grove of Yew trees. Without a doubt, the outside bath has a wonderful outlook amongst the Yew trees, the perfect spot for a romantic bath. The cosiest and most authentic of the four, it has a true treehouse vibe. In addition, Chiffchaff is accessed by a long gradual ramp with hand rails at either side.
The Living Space
The living space at Chiffchaff combines a living area with a sofa and chair, with an impressive dining table at a good height for wheeling right up to. Additionally, the kitchen is rustic, and ideally placed for serving up a feast with a view. Moreover, a great feature of Chiffchaff is the amount of natural light that brightens up the place during the day, and the gorgeous atmospheric lighting that softly illuminates it at night.
Sleeping
In the bedroom you’ll find a super-king divan bed with amazing views through the trees. There’s also a sofa bed option for additional guests. The wet room has a wall-mounted shower seat and grab rails.
Extras
Upon booking, you will be offered the option of adding on a food pack from the local farm. It will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive. A great way to make your stay easier and even more relaxing!

A wee note from Accessible Holidays Scotland: The verification visit was completed by a manual wheelchair user who found access in and around most of the treehouse to be good. The kitchen doesn’t have wheel-under units and the outside bath area has an approx. 5cm step/threshold to navigate. The bath doesn’t have any grab rails. We loved the outdoor decking area with the BBQ, We spent as much time out there as possible just soaking up the views!
