The Ramsay
Verified by us: We had a lovely relaxing stay at The Ramsay. The enclosed decking is a great outside area for children and pets, with amazing views to enjoy.
The Ramsay is a wheelchair accessible lodge in the Scottish borders that is designed for unwinding in. You’ll find huge comfy sofas and floor to ceiling windows that look out over stunning views. It has level access throughout with a wrap around decking area and lovely hot tub.
The Ramsay sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms with super king-sized beds (one can be split into a twin room). Both have ensuite bathrooms with Raindance Showers in a wet room style bathroom. Underfloor heating keeps everything cosy and dry.
The living and dining areas are spacious, and very well equipped with Smart TV, fabulous 5G Wifi and great Bluetooth speakers. There is a door out to the decking from the living area, where you can take in stunning views of the Scottish Borders countryside.
All fittings and linens are of the highest quality.
The Ramsay is located on a working farm with walks to do and lots of animals to see! The Donkeys, goats, ponies and pigs all love to say hello to our guests.

“This is my 15th visit to Airhouses since November 2020 so it feels like coming home however this was my first visit to The Ramsay and I think I now have a new favourite!
The views from The Ramsay are stunning and as we experienced every weather system, we saw the view differently throughout our stay. As usual the accommodation was spotless and equipped to the highest standard. We enjoyed our coffee in the Dairy Cafe on Saturday morning too. I can’t recommend Airhouses enough. Damian and Elisabeth always make us feel so welcome. The dogs enjoyed their goody packs too!”

A wee note from Accessible Holidays Scotland: Wheelchair access to The Ramsay is provided by metal ramps, just to help navigate the doorway thresholds. Inside, the lodge is spacious and bright. The bathroom is large, but please note there are no-fixed rails around the toilet – there is, however, a stand-free toilet frame. We loved having a wee drive around the site to see the animals, including goats, donkeys, and alpacas!
