Emsdorf Lodge
Emsdorf is a pet friendly wheelchair accessible lodge at Homelands Trust in Fife. It has Super-Fast free Wi-Fi and can sleep up to 6 people with two twin bedrooms and one double/ twin bedroom. Furthermore, this lodge is owned by an independent Fife-based charity who provide luxury 4* accessible accommodation across 9 lodges.
Pets: Up to 3 pets are allowed in Emsdorf Lodge (a small charge per pet per week applies)
Ground Floor
Firstly, Bedroom 1 on the ground floor features a Guldmann H Frame tracking hoist*, an Invacare Medley electric profiling bed with airflow mattress, a standard 3ft single divan bed, overbed table and TV. There are extra wide doors into the bedroom from the wide corridor to allow access to the wet room and a set of double sliding doors to allow access from the bedroom into the living room. Likewise, there are two doors from the bedroom allowing access to the outside patio.
Furthermore, there is a full wetroom with a Guldmann H Frame tracking hoist* and easy access from Bedroom 1
What’s more, there an open plan kitchen / dining / living area with access via double doors to a small patio with garden furniture overlooking the gardens. The living area includes a three seater sofa, rise recline chair and 40″ smart TV. Significantly, the dining table will seat 6 in comfort. Additionally, there is a full kitchen including a Fridge Freezer, Induction Hob, Electric Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher.

Furthermore, there’s a second accessible toilet on the ground floor too.
Another key point is the spacious porch area large enough to store mobility scooters and any other mobility aids you may require. Moreover, there is a garden patio area with brick built BBQ and garden furniture.
First Floor
Bedroom 2 on the first floor features a ziplink bed. Indeed, this can be made up as a super king bed or twin beds depending upon your preference
Bedroom 3 features two standard 3ft single divan beds
In addition, there is a separate Bathroom with stand alone shower cubicle and bath
Specialist Equipment
Lastly, we have a wide range of specialist equipment to hire at no extra charge and subject to availability. These are therefore not situated in the lodge at the time of booking as bookable extras. There are nine lodges in total but not nine of each item of specialist equipment.
